Almost Graduated, Almost Ready

I'm going to graduate from Case Western a week from today, and I'm moslty thinking about how I'm going to get all my stuff back to Massachusetts in my parents minivan, and making sure everything is in order for my trip which starts in 5 weeks.

To give you a sample of what I mean, the following is a list of diseases against which I need to be immunized:

Hepatatis A, B and C
Dyptheria
Yellow Fever
Typhoid Fever
Japanese Encephalitis
Rabies

I'm more than a little disturbed by the prospectus of getting Malaria, so I think I might get that one too, even though its not required.

I've also had to buy a number of new items for my trip, and have also been purchasing all of the requisite train and airplane tickets. I finally recieved my visas from the Russian and Chinese embassies after a few weeks of processing. Hopefully they're correct, and I wont have any problems at the border. I've heard that some of the tour guides like to carry a bottle of Johnny Walker to lubricate the process.

*note - I wrote this post before graduation, but failed to post it until afteward. sorry.
